What's the important news? Well, straight to the point: I have decided to suspend the development of Hearts Under the Red Sky indefinitely.

Why did I make this decision? Well, since the release of Chapter 2, the game has received about an 80% of negative reviews (rough estimate). This puts me in a difficult situation because I invest a lot of time and effort to develop each chapter, time and effort that I could invest in another project that gives better results. I knew this project was risky, I decided to go for a much more raw and dark plot but I felt optimistic at the start, unfortunately, in the end, things didn't turn out as I imagined, but I know it's part of creating content. I want to clarify that I don't like to leave projects unfinished, but it's not very encouraging to work on a project that is badly received.

What will happen now that the development of Red Sky is suspended? Don't worry, I'm already working on another story that I think you'll really enjoy. It will be a short story with a much lighter theme (maybe only one or two chapters, I haven't defined it yet), with humor and romance, endearing characters, and a more lighthearted setting. I want to assure you that this does not mean that there will be a drop in quality or anything like that, I also love this kind of story and you can tell if you played my first game. Anyway, expect more news about this new project in the next few days.

What if you liked Red Sky? Am I going to finish the story at some point? Well, that's up to you. I will open a poll in which everyone will be able to participate, no matter if you are my Patreons or not.  In this poll there will be only two options: continue or cancel the development of Red Sky for good. You will decide the fate of this project on that poll.

¿Cuáles son las noticias importantes? Bueno, sin rodeos: He decidido suspender el desarrollo de Hearts Under the Red Sky por tiempo indefinido.

¿Por qué tomé esta decisión? Bueno, desde el lanzamiento del capítulo 2, el juego ha recibido un 80% de críticas negativas (cálculo aproximado). Esto me pone en una situación difícil porque invierto mucho tiempo y esfuerzo para desarrollar cada capítulo, tiempo y esfuerzo que podría invertir en otro proyecto que de mejores resultados. Sé que este proyecto era arriesgado, decidí ir por una trama mucho más cruda y oscura pero me sentía optimista, al final las cosas no salieron como me imaginé, pero es parte del proceso creativo. Quiero aclarar que no me gusta dejar proyectos inconclusos, pero tampoco es muy alentador trabajar en un proyecto tan mal recibido.

¿Qué pasará ahora que está suspendido el desarrollo de Red Sky? No se preocupen, ya estoy trabajando en otra historia que creo que disfrutarán mucho. Será una historia corta con una temática mucho más ligera (quizás de solo uno o dos capítulos, aún no lo defino), con humor y romance, personajes entrañables y una ambientación más alegre. Quiero garantizarles que esto no significa que habrá un bajón de calidad ni nada por el estilo, este tipo de historias también me encantan y pueden darse cuenta si jugaron mi primer juego. En fin, esperen más noticias de este nuevo proyecto en los próximos días.

¿Qué pasa si te gustó Red Sky? ¿En algún momento voy a terminar la historia? Bueno, eso depende de ustedes. Esta semana abriré una encuesta en la que todos podrán participar, no importa si son mis Patreons o no.  En esta encuesta solo habrá dos opciones: continuar o cancelar el desarrollo de Red Sky de forma definitiva. Ustedes decidirán el destino de este proyecto en esa encuesta.
